I'm safe here at home. :)

I was stranded for a while back in Manila (and spent the night there) last Saturday. I really wanted to go home in my parents' home here in the province, but I couldn't because of the waist-high/chest-high floods in my route. ;___;

I remember Jenny and I were wishing there would be no classes on Monday (uh I mean today), since our Saturday was spent worrying about going home. We thought we wouldn't even have the time to go home at all.

...actually, as much as I'm glad to be safe, and my family as well, I feel really sad for what happened in my country. :(

Just like what I wrote to twistedhalo04, it made the headline for my local newspaper and I was just, astounded. It said it was the worse ever since four decades ago, and I simply couldn't fathom how I would manage if I were there.

Yeah, right after what happened, everyone here must be reached by phone or else you're considered to be missing. D:

Actually, everything back home is normal, since we're not really in the Metropolis area. Most of my family is here, and all are safe. I don't know about Manila though. =/

The most surprising thing I've heard about this is that the rain poured for a matter of six hours were actually a month's worth already. o_o And of course that there was 10-feet flood in the areas terribly hit by it.

I dried days ago, so. Kidding aside, yes Cin, I'm okay ♥ I'm still thankful despite what happened.

I'm glad there's not much damaged here in my house. Parts of Manila are destroyed. :( I think, for my country, the best way to get through is to help each other out. And thank you~ ♥

QC's quite big and I'm in one of the areas that really doesn't get flooded. Okay I'm near Banawe and that area gets flooded but I'm not on that street so thankfully we were spared.
