Formerly entitled: "it's jun's turn" a title I came up with for my Random Thoughts for August post. But then, I've been soooooo busy lately (I can only resort to checking tags and comments and friends' entries) and just to give you a clue, these were what happened to me for the past week:

Managerial Accounting business case deadline: I actually had to become a little bit indifferent about this one (even if it was like, 10% of my grade for this course) because sadly, I had no idea how to do the entire thing. I was the only one who could come up with computations and stuff, and really, it was like I just invented a new formula. I rock, NOT. orz

Birthday dress! WHAT: I-It's nothing important really (read: I'm not a normal teenage girl), so I don't worry much about my 18th birthday. But yay! I got a blue/bronze dress (not a gown thank God) and a yellow dress-ish for dancing (not sure yet how it'll look exactly). My point is, I chose the colors! XD T-That's all I could contribute, really, and I guess that's why I had them designed for me...? IDK.

Obligations and Contracts midterm grade: Remind me, I'VE NEVER WANTED TO TAKE UP ANY LAW SUBJECT. So this might be the first time I'll get a 1.5-2.5 grade in my record, which sucks really. D: (For those who aren't aware: 4.0 - highest, 1.0 - lowest passing grade, 0.0 - FAIL DX)
In fairness to my professor though, our quiz for this week was the easiest she ever made for us. She has a heart after all.

Marketing Plan: In reality I want to rant about this, but then again, I'm trying to be stable with my thoughts about my professors. And since I love my marketing professor (not because he's a successful entrepreneur/party boy HAHA) for making me realize that ALL the things in this world are not coincidental (at least when in comes to business), I'll just say that at least, he gave us two weeks for that marketing plan. But really, why so late?

Art Appreciation final project: A photo-scrapbook of the heaven-and-hell side of our society. Finished in four hours. (It's all thanks to Jenny, the ever-patient one; to Pat, the ever-diligent worker :D ...and to Daryl for the delivery of the food XD) But w-well, I'm no artist, but at least I made a poem for our final project? Just to give you a glimpse, I'll put up the first, last and something-in-between stanzas. :)

Like the summer sun, people become the most persistent
To face their daily endeavors with utmost hope
Trying their best to rise from the misery
Scarcity and poverty being their biggest obstacles.

Unlike religion with numerous beliefs and values,
Even our Churches have been filled with either wealth or darkness.
For the sake of our society, should we follow our hearts or our heads?

Like the winter moon, we do not know when the next season arrives.
We live in a world where there exist two extremes
Both are working hard, yet not the same things happen
We could only hope the change in ourselves would be the change in our society.

I-I don't really think that's a poem, so feel free to enlighten me. (For someone who's been writing poems since first year high school, I should be ashamed of myself for not knowing. *facepalm*)
Oh and Daryl actually helped on a couple of lines. Thanks Daryl. :)

Report of a Filipino translation: As much as I've always been interested in translating (and what more fun than to translate Coelho's Warrior), I realized one thing in this course: I'd rather translate things from Filipino to English, rather than the other way around. I'm not saying I'm not good at Filipino (well, coming from Batangas... :D), but there is seriously a need for the Filipino language to improve, especially that we find it easier to express ourselves in English now. Just a thought, really.

Business Management Society's General Assembly: W-Well, I was feeling sick that day, but that evening ceremony was actually enjoyable. :) It's great to be a Junior Officer for this year, because I get to meet some of my batchmates whom I was just used to seeing in a few of my classes. And during one of my blockmates' performances (Btw, Lady Marmalade rock version and sung by men? WIN. GO BLOCK TEN. \o/), I kind of wished someone was there. Or maybe that's just because I saw my former crush again? XD

Oh yeah, did I mention that I had a terrible cough? No, I HAVE a terrible cough. Last night was the worst though; I couldn't stop hacking and coughing, I think I sounded like a dog. G-Good thing I didn't wake up anyone. But, IT'S THE WORST GUYS. I might know how Nino felt during those One Love MSta performances D:

P.S. I might flail about Arashi in my next post, randomly. B-Because I love being incoherent that way. :Dv
