WE HAVE MADE THE SALE! \O/
... It wasn't actually a big deal. XD
You see, the group who had been our competitor changed their mind about selling the shirt to our professor, simply because they couldn't sell the personalized shirts individually. Since they originally accept bulk orders only, if they'd competed with us they'd lose so much money.
Actually, that's ironic because my professors didn't want us to lose money (i.e. we should gain profits instead), when in fact, no one gained even when he bought the products. *shrugs* We didn't mind the money anyway, all we cared about really was getting the perfect grade.
So, with the competition gone, our professor cleared the reason for not buying sooner: we had a competitor and he had to think about the situation. Seriously though, that tells me he didn't want neither of us to lose to the other, so he had to wait if a group would change their mind. Ah~ it's so nice when everything works out in your favor. :)
He bought two shirts, including the mugs (we gave him those, for free) and a digital comic CD by my blockmate. We lost a lot too, to be honest. XDD But it didn't matter anyway. We did what we had to.
That's it, really. Just as my professor promised, it took us only five minutes to close the deal. Everything's done, just like that. *sighs* Perhaps this would be one of my most unforgettable experiences in college. And I'm not even a marketing major! LOL.
Btw, I only have three weeks left of school, so I'd probably declare hiatus two weeks from now. D: I need to get through finals, so I must study hard. Even though I doubt I would. XDD
