I TOLD YOU MY EMOTIONAL OUTBURST WOULD BE GONE BY THE NEXT DAY. T^T
Out of, let's say, feeling something bad, I really wanted to stop talking the next day. LITERALLY, NO WORDS. But then Jenny and Pao borrowed from PH the July issue of Wink Up. YES, THE ONE WITH ARASHI ON THE COVER. (New-friends-because-of-Arashi FTW~!) And although I've already seen the photoshoot (DID I MENTION THAT IT IS THE BEST ARASHI PHOTOSHOOT EVEEEEEERRRR? ARASHI RABU RABU. *throws confetti shaped like hearts and rainbows*), I really wanted to see the real thing itself. IT WAS SO EFFIN' COOL.
Random notefor the day (I missed these): I finally told my parents that Arashi will have a concert in Taipei on October 11 (*sobs*). I was glad to hear my mom say (upon expressing my disappointment) "We'll let you go to Japan, dear! Don't worry; we'll definitely save up for that." AWWWWWWWW. I LOVE MY MOM. I LOVE MY DAD. I'm so glad to have parents like them. T______T

I can't believe we found ourselves taking a lot of photos of that magazine (even though obviously scans are available and I ALREADY have those LOL), but it was fun perving on looking at those magazine photos. All of them are soooooo pretty. *___*
PH was so kind to us, and (being a KAT-TUN fan) she actually offered to give Jenny an Arashi merchandise of some sort. *___*
B-but. That's not what cheered me up the most. Apparently, last night I easily got over my "emo" phase by doing/encountering four things (in order):
1) Jo's comforting message (I love you! *squishes*)
2) Listening to "Still..." (the optimistic melody sucks me in more than the meaning, even if it IS a sad song)
3) Seeing a picture of dorky!Jun (who is still the prettiest dork I've ever seen)
4) FINALLY watching the Gimmick Game fancam (er, enough said?)
The first three got me out of my "depressed" state, but the last one. The last one. OMG. Like, I was grinning like an idiot while watching Nino dance. A-and. I don't really want to say anything about that performance but IT'S A FANGIRL KILLER. Nino's out to kill fangirls, everyone.
And you know what's even funnier? After that, it was like I didn't become depressed at all. AT ALL. I completely forgot about how I felt. And in a way, it motivated me to finish reading (at least) my book for the next day's test. Arashi does wonders, really. *____*
Okay, biases aside, I can't really help but say how much Arashi cheers me up. I mean, I can't believe they DO possess that "power". You know, when I played "Still..." I immediately got that feeling of bliss, of refreshment, like it's a brand new day. (I perfectly know how cliched that seemed.) And you know, THIS is exactly why they're so addictive.
ARASHI, NEVER LEAVE ME. *___*

Date: 2008-06-29 11:00 pm (UTC)That's why I love them so much. They're down to earth, they're natural, they're funny and witty, and moreover, they're all handsome! It's truly one of the best group in the whole world lol. I've never been hooked on a band like this at all. ^^
And your mom is sounds so sweet *__* XD I think mine would never say that. She'd rather go "Work and pay it for yourself" or "YOU'D GO TO JAPAN JUST FOR THAT GUY? ARE YOU INSANE??" XD
Count yourself lucky ;)
And Still is such a good song! I love it too. I always bob my head to that song looool.

Date: 2008-06-30 11:49 am (UTC)I was amazed by what happened too. I knew Arashi could have such optimistic and feel-good songs, but I never actually realized they'd make me feel better. Now there are more reasons to love them more than I already did. *___*
AND YES, I KNOW! *___* I'm so lucky to have them as my parents. I was surprised to hear it from my mom, since my dad is the more supportive one, I think. (He can name them one-by-one now XDDDDD) He once offered to pay for the DVD and the calendar. B-but I refused and paid for them myself. XD They spoil me so much LOL
"Still" doesn't sound like a sad song, does it? orz
